Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has described the death of former Military Administrator of the State Brigadier General Ibrahim Aliyu rtd as a great loss.
In a statement signed and made available to Radio Nigeria in Dutse by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila explained that the death of General Aliyu is a great loss to the entire people and government of Jigawa State.
The statement said that, the late General sacrificed his life in the service of humanity.
It could be recalled that early this month Governor Badaru Abubakar and the Vice President Yemi Osibanjo commissioned a road named after General Ibrahim Aliyu as part of recognition of his contribution to the state.
Governor Badaru pray to the Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest and condoled his family and people of Jigawa State over the loss.
