Corporate Affairs Commission CAC has reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to stabilizing the business system with global practices.

The Registrar General, Alhaji Abubakar stated this during an interactive session between management and stakeholders organized by the corporate affairs commission in kano.

According to him, CAC had upgraded it’s services with the launching of a new registration portal, provision of relevant information, reports and documents to customers within a short period of time.

He attributed the success achieved due to the commitment of the Muhammadu Buhari administration in mapping out policies aims at boosting the economy, new regulations, training and retraining of corporate affairs commission personnel to compete with others globally.

Alhaji Garba Abubakar commended customers and CAC staff for their patience and commitment regarding the few technical glitches experienced during the upgrade.

” This forum is the 2nd within the last two years before the introduction of all the reforms.The companies and allied matters act was assented by the President in August 2020,while the official gazette was submitted in November 2020″

In a remark, the senior special assistant to Kano state governor on small scale and medium enterprise Alhaji Mukhtar Mudi Baba, said the state government had established a Kano business clinic to meet the yearnings and aspirations of business owners.

He maintained that,there were over 30,000 small and medium enterprise businesses in kano as such the business clinic was working to change the narration from ‘Awon Igiya’ to modern business.

The senior special assistant said about 1,500 SMES in kano were registered free of charge to reduce unemployment and boost the economy.

“The first thing we did after being appointed was the submission of a blueprint on the need for the creation of business clinic for small scale and medium enterprise to diagnose and profer solution to small business owners”

Alhaji Mukhtar Mudi Baba expressed the state government’s readiness to partner CAC and relevant stakeholders to move small scale and medium enterprises as well as other businesses forward.

The event attracted business owners,members of the manufacturers association of Nigeria,Nigerian Bar Association,government officials and the general public.
