Kano State fire service has confirmed the death of a one day old baby found inside a well at Tsalle Village Gezawa local government area.

Public Relations Officer of the agency Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi explained that, the new born baby was alleged to have been dumped into the well by unknown persons who were believed to be at large.

He noted that the kano state fire service receieved a distress call from one of it’s officers Abubakar Ibrahim Dandago, Saying rescue team immediately swang into action and evacuated the body of the dead baby from the well.

In the same vain, a 35 year old man Babawo Sulaiman has lost his life during a fire disaster at a welding workshop in Airport road Sabon Gari Kano.

According to the public relations officer, three people were affected by the inferno one lost his life while others are recieving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Specialist hospital.

In a similar development, the Kano state fire service also confirmed the death of a 16 year old teenager Muhammad Ghali who accidently fell into a pond at Red Bricks.

Saminu Yusuf maintained that service was committed to the safety of lives and properties, Urging the general public to abide by rules and report any case of fire disaster, road accident, drowning among others to the nearest fire service office.
