Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) ,Kwara state Command says it has arrested two suspects for allegedly spending fake Currency at Yagba Market in Patigi local government area of the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by the command spokesman Babawale Afolabi in Ilorin.

According to the statement the suspects Nicholas Kelechi 25 years and Benjamin Moore 42 years all of Iseyin in Oyo state were arrested while spending the fake Nigeria Currency at the market.

The statement explained that the ring leader ,Benjamin Moore confessed to have been introduced into the business by a man he met in lokoja.

It said the suspect claimed that the man took him to a worship center at ibadan to collect the fake money,using two hundred naira (#200) real note to collect one thousand naira (#1000) fake money.

The statement noted that the suspects said they decided to operate in far places to hide their identity.

It added that the two suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
