Federal Government has reiterated it’s commitment in providing Agricultural inputs and equipment as support to farmers affected by flood aimed at boosting food production in the Country.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural development Alhaji Mohammad Sabo Nonono states this during the Distribution of farm inputs to farmers in Kano.

Alhaji Mohammad Sabo Nonono who was represented by the state coordinator of the federal ministry of agriculture in Kano Alhaji Abba Gana Yamani said Federal government was committed in providing support to farmers aimed at boosting food production in the country.

He said the farm inputs and equipment distributed to farmers affected by flood was free of charge, aimed at alleviating their suffering as well as boosting morale

Alhaji Mohammad Sabo Nonono explained that the selection of the beneficiary was base on merit, and urged them to make maximum utilization of the equipment aimed at Achieving the set objectives.

Malam Awaisu Sani from bunkure local Government and Ya’u Hamisu from Garko local Government Area who were among the beneficiaries, Applauded federal government for providing the support.

The items Distributed includes water pump, irrigation water Tank among other modern equipments
