Kwara State Government has inducted 130 health workers recently recruited into the state civil service.

Speaking at the Induction ceremony, the Director General State Hospital Management Bureau, Dr Sa’ad Aluko said the exercise was a step to improve patient-to-health giver ratio and better medical service delivery in the state.

According to him, government has recruited about 90 nurses, 19 doctors 20 other allied workers.

Dr Sa’ad Aluko who explained that the recruitment cut across primary and secondary health facilities, added that the number would keep increasing.

Thee Director General urged the newly recruited health workers to deliver on their mandate.

In her remark, Director of Nursing Services Mrs Florence Adeniran said the inductees were meant to enhance healthcare delivery in the state.
