Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami says a committee has been constituted to review the condition of service and salaries of judicial officers in the country.

Mr. Malami stated this at the commissioning of the remodelled high Court in Sokoto State.

He said the move was part of efforts to ensure welfare of judicial officers reflects current economic realities and improve the administration of justice in the country.

The Minister commended the state government for remodeling the judicial complex established in 1967.

In a remark, Governor Aminu Tambuwal noted that an independent judiciary was pivotal for socio-economic and peaceful coexistence.
