Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital kaduna has reaffirmed it commitment towards providing qualitative mental health care to Nigerians.
A statement by public relations officer of the hospital Haruna Usman Toma said the Medical Director, Professor Abdulkarim Yusuf jika stated while receiving award of excellence from the Nigerian Union of Journalists in kaduna.
Represented by the Director of Administration Alhaji Alhassan Mahmoud explained that the hospital had been upgraded with infrastructure and working materials to international standard for effective service delivery.
Professor Abdulkarim jika assured of partnering with journalists for transparency and accountability in the management of the hospital.
According to him, the hospital has qualified staff capable of addressing all forms of mental ailments confronting humaminity.
The Medical Director said all the successes were achieved with cooperation of the governing board of the hospital under the leadership of Ambassador Babagana Ajimi
