Muslims are advised to start looking for the new moon of Ramadan on Monday the twelfth of April 2021 equivalent to twenty ninth of Shaaban 1442 after hijira.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs sultanate council sokoto state, Prof. Wali Junaidu wazirin sokoto, said if sighted it should be report to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to his Eminence the sultan of sokoto Alh, Muhammad Saad Abubakar.
