The criminal case against the leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheik Ibrahim El Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat has been adjourned to the 25th of May, 2021.

At the resumed hearing today, the prosecution closed its case by calling its last witness to the stand.

Director of Public Prosecution, Mr Dari Bayero who stated this in Kaduna said the State called fifteen witnesses to prove their case against the accused persons.

He expressed confidence that justice would prevail at the end of proceeding.

Responding, Counsel to the accused, Marshall Umar who held brief for Mr Femi Falana informed the court that the defense intend to file an application for a no case submission since the prosecution has failed to prove the charges against his clients.
