Golf legend, Tiger Woods has returned home from hospital following a car crash that left him with major injuries.

The 15-time major champion was moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for follow-up procedures on 27 February after sustaining a fractured leg and shattered angle in the accident.

The forty five years old American on wednesday tweeted: “Happy to report that I am back home continuing my recovery, I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks”.

“I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger everyday.”

Los Angeles police said there was no evidence Woods had been impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
