Kwara State Government has taken delivery of its consignment of the COVID-19 Oxford AstraZeneca Vaccines from the Federal Government.

Addressing newsmen at the Ilorin International Airport , the Executive Secretary Kwara State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr.Nusirat Elelu said the state was excited to witness the delivery of the vaccines to support its fight against coronavirus.

She expressed confidence that the COVID-19 Vaccines would soon give a new lease of life to the general public.

Dr.Nusirat urged residents of the state to present themselves for vaccination and get protected.

She explained that the vaccines had proved to be effective against the infectious disease.
