Nigeria Governors will be taking the COVID19 vaccine on Wednesday next week with their deputies before administering to frontline health workers and the elderly in the states.

Head of Media and Public Affairs of the Forum Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo made this known after the forums meeting in Abuja.

The statement explained that governors expressed their commitment to work with Federal Government to ensure the vaccines are protected and encouraged Nigerians to use the e-registration portal of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency to register.

Chairman of the Presidential Tax Force and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, Director-General of National Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr Faisal Shuiab, officials from Federal Ministry of Health and medical experts were at the meeting to guide Governors on safer ways of administering the vaccines.
