Former Senate President and Chairman PDP National Reconciliation and Strategic Committee Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki has called for collective efforts in the fight against insecurity in Nigeria.

The former Senate President made the call while fielding questions from Newsmen when he led members of committee on a visit to former Military Resident General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida retired at his Hilltop residence in Minna.

Senator Bukola Saraki maintained that finding lasting solution to the current security challenges bedeviling Nigeria should not be left to government alone but required concerted effort by all and sundry.

According to him both the ruling and opposition party as well as elderstatesmen should contribute and find solutions to address the challenges.

Some members of the committee on the visit include Former state Governor’s of Katsina Gombe Cross Rivers and Niger Barr Ibrahim Shehu Shema Alh Ibrahim Hassan Dan kwambo Mr Liyol Imoke and Dr Nuazu Babangida Aliyu as well as former leader House of Representatives Mulikat Akande.
