Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has reaffirmed his Administration support for the Association of local Government of Nigeria ALGON ,in ensuring good governance to the citizenry.
Ganduje stated this when he received the Association National president Kolade David Alabi who lead the states Chairmen of ALGON on a courtesy call to the Governor at government house Kano.
The Governor advice ALGON to desist from conniving with contractor in misusing local Government funds.
He explained that as a former member of ALGON ,he would do everything possible in ensuring that the Associations objectives were met.
Earlier the National President of ALGON Kolade David Alabi said they were in Kano to conduct there National Executive Meeting.
Kolade David Alabi Applauded the commitment of the Ganduje’s Administration for infrastructural Revolution the emerge in Kano .
He added that the Association would delibrates on serious matters ,aimed at uplifting the living standard of general populace.
Speaking While Recieving members of the Association at his palace,the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero urged the Association to delibrate on issues that would improve the well being of the people.
