The Nigeria security and civil defence corp Kano command has arrested one Nura salisu (Aka) Yello for allegedly producing fake Engine oil,and selling the products to the General public.
The Deputy Commandant of NSCDC in Kano Joachin Okafor, who Doubles as the Head of Anti Vandalism unit of the command stated this while parading the suspects before journalist in Kano.
Mr Joachin Okafor said the NSCDC command in Kano was working asidiously in ensuring adequate security of lives and properties of the General populace.
He said the command received intelligence report on the illegal production of the fake engine oil by one Nura salisu ,at Rangaza village ungogo local Government Area of Kano state.
The Deputy Commandant explained that based on the Gathered information the Commandant of NSCDC in Kano Abu Abdu Tambuwal ordered the arrest of the suspects for further investigation.
Mr Joachin Okafor noted that they were able to apprehended ten drums of the fake products.
He said investigation was ongoing,adding immediately they completed their investigations they would charged the suspect to court.
Speaking to journalist the suspect Nura salisu said he was producing the fake engine oil without registration from the relevant Authorities,and did not undergo any laboratory test to ascertain the quality of the engine oil he is producing.
