Nigerian Airforce has re-iterated its determination towards enthroning professionalism in service for effective service delivery.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar gave the assurance at the graduation ceremony of force protection personnel at the Regiment Training Centre Kaduna.

Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar said the force had pursued improvement of protection capabilities, which had necessitated the drive for massive recruitment and training of regiment personnel to complement air operations across various theatres.

He explained that Twenty officers and forty-five airmen had been nominated to attend various specialized regiment courses in Egypt to further improve the capacity and quality of the force, and assured of plans to train more personnel overseas to sustain capacity development.

The Chief of Air Staff also pledged to develop new capabilities for effective, efficient and swift response to national security challenges.

Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar further urged the graduands to strive to be good ambassadors of the service by upholding its core values of integrity,and put all they have learnt to safeguard lives and property within their area of responsibility.

Earlier, Air Officer Commanding Group Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Idi Amin, explained that with the exception of regimental sergeant major course, other courses were trained on force protection in complex air ground environment.

A total of Six Hundred and Seventy-six personnel graduated after undergoing many weeks of intensive trainings.

Highlights of the event was the presentation of prizes to deserving graduands.
