Niger state government says it supported plans by the National Caretaker Convention Committees of All Progressives Congress APC plan to carryout registration of members.

Special Adviser to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello on Political and Strategy Alh Nma Kolo who made the government position in a statement in Minna described the action as apt and timely.

Alh Nma Kolo expressed optimism that the policy woulf widen the political power base of APC ahead of twenty twenty three general elections.

According to him, Niger state government also opined that fresh party registration bring into the many supporters who have been hanging out seeking for amicable settlement of their differences.

Alh Nma Kolo however challenged APC leadership at all levels of governance to carry out the exercise without fear or favour to justify the confidence reposed in them.

He reminded them that APC is greater than the ambition of any one of them and stressed the need to work as a team for maximum benefit.

On security Alh Nma Kolo said Niger state government was working hand in hand with Federal Government to bring an end to increasing cases of vanditry kidnapping cattle rustling and all forms of criminality in parts of the state.
