Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Zamfara State, Dr. Asma’u Sani Maikudi who disclosed this during a stakeholders meeting, said 4 adhoc staff were declared missing but were later accounted for, with two of them injured, while the others returned yesterday.

She called on politicians to cooperate with INEC and vowed to deliver credible election.

According to her, the supplementary bye election scheduled for 9th December, is to hold in 5 wards which include Bakura, Damri, Yar Kufuji, Nasarawa, Yar Geda.

In all, the affected polling units have 11,429 registered voters.

However, all the parties in attendance especially the two major parties, APC and PDP were trading blame.
