The independent corrupt practices commission ICPC Kano office has charged the Kano independent Electoral commission KANSIEC to conduct the forthcoming local government councils elections devoid of sentiments and favour.

The state commissioner of ICPC in Kano Zayyana Adamu Dammusa disclose this when he led the management team of ICPC Kano office who paid a working visit to KANSIEC.

Zayyana explained that the purpose of the visit was to enhance synergy between the two agencies aimed at ensuring a hitch free election .

He said they would participate in all committees set up by KANSIEC geared towards curtailing electoral malpractice,such as vote buying, election Rigging among others.

Zayyana Adamu Dammusa reassured the commitment of his agency in addressing the corruption challenges in the country.

In his remark the chairman Kano state independent electoral commission Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka said KANSIEC would collaborate with all security agencies and stakeholders aimed at ensuring that the stated goals were Achieved.

He assures the general populace of the state that his agency would conduct free and fair election devoid of sentiments or favouritism .
