Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has presented over N141.6bn, 2021 budget proposal to the Kebbi State House of Assembly for consideration.

Presenting the Proposal at the assembly complex in Birnin kebbi, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, explained that the budget was prepared in line with the Federal Government Fiscal outlook for the 2021 fiscal year.

”The 2021 budget tagged budget of Economic Rejuvenation has a Recurrent Expenditure of over Forty Nine billion naira while Capital Expenditure stands at over Ninety two billion naira representing Sixty five percent”

According to him the 2020 revised budget has performed well, despite forecasted challenges, adding that the Internally Generated Revenue of the state as at September this year stood at 65%.

Responding, the speaker Alhaji Ismaila Abdulmumini kamba said the assembly would ensure speedy passage of the bill before January next year.
