Kaduna State Government has charged security operatives to find the killers of the District Head of Gidan Zaki in Zangon Kataf Local Government, Mr. Haruna Kuye and his son, Destiny Kuye in the early hours of today.
A statement by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan says government was informed of the killing by the Military Operation Safe Haven.
It explains that the District Head’s wife sustained machete wounds while his daughter has gunshot wound on her finger.
According to the sataement, the security report further stated that the act was carried out by about five men wielding AK-47 rifles and machetes, who also tried to burn the house and a vehicle.
It add that Governor Nasir El-Rufai also condemned the killing and prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
In a related development, security agencies have also updated the State Government with information regarding monday’s attack at Albasu village in Igabi Local Government where eleven people are confirmed killed.
Similarly, the victim killed by bandits on sunday at Maraban Kajuru, in Kajuru Local Government Area have been identified as Mr. Albarka Addu’a, A former Village Head of Kyemara Gari.
