About 1034 less privileged in Birnin kudu local government area of Jigawa state will receive Over 10 million under the federal government`s conditional cash transfer.

The chairman, Birnin kudu local government, Alhaji Muhammad Idris disclosed this while launching the disbursement exercise in Birnin kudu.

He said the money would boost the socio economic wellbeing of the people in the locality.

Alhaji Muhammad Idris Faka advised people to rally round the present administration to benefit from the laudable intervention programmes.

He commended federal government for introducing social intervention programmes to improve the living standard of Nigerians especially less privileged. According to him, beneficiaries from Birnin kudu, Kangire, and Kantoga wards would benefit from the disbursement exercise in the first batch.
