Kaduna state peace commission has called on community peace artisans to intensify effort in achieving sustainable peace for growth and development of the state.

This is contained in a statement by the Vice Chairman of the Commission Priscilla Ankut on the celebration of International Day of Peace in kaduna

The statement says amidst security challenges in the state and covid-19 Pandemic, the Day offers opportunity for reflection on way to achieve peace.

It also urges individuals and groups especially those affected by violence of any type in the state not to relent in championing peace and harmonious coexistence.

The statement conclude that sustained community peace driven initiatives are the most reliable and lasting instruments for building peace.
