Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU), has faulted the Sexual Harassment and Rape Bill passed by the National Assembly.

National President of ASUU Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, raised issues emanating from the bill at a Town Hall meeting with critical stakeholders in Jos.

Prof.Ogunyemi, maintained that, the Bill was discriminatory and insisted that the Bill was targeted at male lecturers.

Prof. Ogunyemi said would still raise their voices against that bill and therefore advocate promotion of equity, fairness including justice for all.

He augured that ASUU was against sexual harassment of  students stressing that they do not support it in whatever forms.
