In bid to ease the current hardship caused by Covid-19, the Nasrul-Lahil Fatih Society, Kaduna Zone, ( NASFAT),  has giving out Zakkat to some members of the public who are in need.

The Imam of NASFAT , Alhaji  Marooph Raji said the gesture which has been a yearly event was extended to cover more people, to show them love and kindness.

 He noted that as one of the five pillars of Islam, Zakkat was mandatory, hence it was imperative for wealthy individuals to always reach out to those need.

Also speaking, Chairman of NASFAT Kaduna State branch,  Muideen Alimun Yusuf emphasized the importance of helping the less privileged in the country.

 He said a hand of friendship extended to those in need would go a long way to ease poverty.

The Kaduna State branch Chairman said the rate of insurgency, rape and other forms of criminality would be reduced, if the rich assisted the poor in the society.
