Nigeria, on Wednesday 20th may 2020, recorded 284 new cases of COVID-19 as reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control- NCDC.

The new cases according to the NCDC, took the country’s total infections to 6,677 out of which 1,840 have been discharged with 200 deaths recorded.

Figures released by NCDC showed that the cases were reported in 12 states and the FCT with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections.
