Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu

Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, wants Nigerians to be wary of fraudsters using the Coronavirus pandemic to defraud unsuspecting victims.  

Ibrahim Magu dropped this hint while speaking to newsmen in Abuja.

He confirmed that fraudsters were using all means possible to promise Nigerians access to palliatives from the government.

Mr Magu cautioned Nigerians against accepting calls from unknown persons who claim to be in charge of distribution of palliatives on behalf of Federal Government.

The Acting chairman of the EFCC also warned citizens against sending bank details to unknown persons.
