Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed twenty-three new cases of COVID19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 174.
The NCDC noted that of the 23 cases reported on Wednesday evening, nine were in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, while Kaduna and Bauchi recorded one case each.
At the moment, Lagos has the highest number of cases which has been pegged at 91 infections, followed by the FCT with 35 cases, Osun 14, Oyo 8, Akwa Ibom 5, Ogun, Edo and Kaduna with 4 each, Bauchi 3, Enugu and Ekiti 2, while Rivers and Benue have 1 each.
Nine patients have been discharged, while two deaths have been recorded.
