The suspected case of Coronavirus in Katsina State has tested negative.
The State Commissioner of Health, Alhaji Yakubu Danja announced this at a press briefing in Katsina.
He urged members of the public to avoid spreading rumours regarding the epidemic but to report suspected cases to the nearest health facility for necessary action.

The commissioner also called on people of the state to maintain personal and environmental hygiene and avoid unnecessary journeys to safeguard themselves from contracting the virus
He expressed appreciation to the National Centre for Disease Control and other members of the state’s ‘Emergency and Response Committee on Coronavirus’ for the ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of the virus in the state.
