NLNG Provides Occupational Therapy, Neuromodulation Rehabilitation Center To AKTH

The Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas says it will not relent in providing Health intervention projects across twelve federal university teaching hospitals in the six geo-political zones of the Nation and FCT.

The Managing Director of the company, Dr Philip Mshelbila stated this during the commissioning of Occupational Therapy and Neuromodulation Rehabilitation Center Constructed and Equipped by NLNG at the .Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, AKTH.

Dr Philip Mshelbia said the gesture was aimed at enhancing government efforts in the Health sector aimed at uplifting the heath status of the general population.

He noted that NLNG in it’s sustainable drive, has anchored four pillars for it’s host communities, the initiatives were in the areas of Education, Infrastructure, Empowerment and Health.

“Indeed health is wealth likewise wisdom is also health, we though it wise to partner with the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, which was founded with a mission of providing excellent services with a dedicated workforce that is fully committed to utilizing available resources judiciously, effectively in an environment where they treats patients with upmost care”He added that NLNG would continue to show support in the Nigerias Health sector geared towards achieving the stated goals.In a remark the Chief Medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Professor Abdulrahman Sheshe said Applauded the efforts of NLNG for providing the facility at the hospital.He explained that the facility would provide services to patients with physical disabilities in order to take care for themselves.The ceremony was graced by senior government officials and Stakeholders.
