Kano: 2000 Clerics Pray For Peace, Stability Of The Nation

The former Chairman of the Appropriation Committee federal House of Representative, representing Kiru/Bebeji from Kano State, Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa has organized a special prayer for the peaceful Coexistence of the Nation.

The special prayer took place at his residence in Kofa village Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano state.

The National prayers were attended by 2000 Ulamas drawn from various Muslim denominations in the state who sought divine intervention for peace and stability of the nation.

During the session, two raka’at prayers were led by Chief Imam of Kafin Maiyaki, Sheikh Rabiu Muhammad who recited verses from the Holy Qur’an.

Kofa, used the opportunity to empower 2500 youth who were trained in various skills, and scholarship grants given to 2500 girls.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to make maximum utilization of the opportunity, and become employers of Labour.
