Kano Hisbah Board Advocates Inculcation Of Moral Values In The Society

The commander general of the Kano state hisbah board, Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment in inculcating moral values to the society according to the teachings of Islam.

Ibn Sina made this known while recieving a delegation from Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Iman of haramain mosque and Dean faculty of Arabic Ummul Qura University Saudi Arabia.

He explained that, the agency was working tirelessly in ensuring total eradication of all forms of vices and ensuring good moral upbringing among the general public.

The commander general pointed out that the state government had provided all necessary structures and facilities to make the work easier but the hisbah personnel were still left behind in terms of trainings.

Ibn Sina appealed to the delegation to assist the Kano state hisbah board interms of training and retraining of personnel to compete with others globally.

In his remarks the Imam of Haramain mosque and Dean faculty of Arabic Ummul Qura University Saudi Arabia, Professor Hassan Ibn Abdulhamid Al-Bukhari said they were invited by Bayero University Kano, to train lecturers and Ulamas.

He noted that, he had visited the federal capital territory Abuja, Kaduna, Kwara and Kano states respectively .

The Imam of Haramain mosque, expressed satisfaction with Kano state hisbah for it’s hardwork and dedication towards discharging it’s responsibilities.

On the issue of training hisbah personnel he called on the management to write a request letter through the Saudi Embassy in Nigeria as the Saudi Government would do everything possible to assist in moving Islam forward.

The delegation comprised other Ulamas, the dean and staff faculty of Arabic Bayero University Kano, Saudi Embassy officials in Nigeria among others.
