Eid-el Adha: Gov. Agbu Felicitates With Muslims, Calls For Tolerance

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State on Wednesday extended his congratulations to the Muslim community on the occasion of the Eid-el Mubarak festival.

A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yusuf Sanda said the period honours the virtuous and heroic deed of Prophet Abraham (AS) in following Allah’s command.

The Governor urged Tarabans and Nigerians in general, to learn from this season’s teachings by being obedient, tolerant, exhibiting love, peace, and sacrifice to create a new society that is free from sentiment and division that everyone can be proud of.

Dr. Agbu Kefas further encouraged the public to join the government in it’s effort to create a new Taraba.

He tasked them to pray for the state and the nation, as they work to create a new Nigeria that everyone can be proud of.

“As he executes development plans for the improvement of our beloved state, the Governor acknowledges the enormous support and sincere love that cut across all social strata. Therefore, he requests more tolerance, peace, and love from Tarabans”.

“He requests Tarabans to uphold the law, lives in peace, and carry out their legitimate responsibilities without fear as their lives and property would be protected by his administration, working closely with all security services,” The statement closed.
