Former Social Democratic Party SDP Presidetial Aspirant Mts Dorothy Nuhu Aken’Ova has congratulated the Niger state Govenor elect Alh Umar Mohammed Bago over his victory at the polls.
This was contained in her congratulatory message issued to Newsmen in Minna the Niger state capital.
Mrs Dorothy Nuhu Aken’Ova expressed optimism that the emergence of Alh Umar Bago as Governor elect will no doubt bring about rapid transformation of Niger state in addition to doing more to tackle the problem of insecurity bedeviling the state.
I am very delighted to know that Hon Umar Mohammed Bago has won the elections for the Governor of Niger State. His victory with a large majority has filled me with immense joy.
According to her his resilience in politics has shown that he is the perfect candidate for this post stressing that all his hard work has paid off.
Mrs Dorothy Nuhu Aken’Ova further explained that his commitment and dedication as member representing Chanchaga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly from Niger state contributed immensely to his success because of his potential to effectively translate policy into practice for improved,inclusive and accessible government.
She said his experience has place him at a vantage position to implement the thirty five percent affirmative action, and improve the quality of our education and health care to globally acceptable standard.
