Police Release PDP Campaign Director

The People’s Democratic Party in Kaduna state has announced the release of It’s Assistant Campaign Director Broadcast Services,, Mallam Sa’idu Adamu and appealed for neutrality on the part of security agencies for smooth campaign and Electioneering processes.

The PDP chairman in the state, Mr. Felix Hassan Hyet stated this while addressing newsmen on alleged plans to further arrest some members of the campaign team of the party by the Nigeria Police.

He said the campaign Assistant Director was arrested by operatives of the Department of Security Services and later released on bail after about Two days in custody leaving 2 other members of the party who are still in detention.

Mr. Hassan Hyet said the News briefing was necessitated by the continues act of deliberate harassement and intimidation of it’s members using government instruments of which the party had written two petitions to the security operatives.

The PDP chairman therefore urged for the immediate release of it’s members still in detention or they should be duly charge to court of competent jurisdiction to prevent further infringement of their rights.

He also called on EFCC and relevant agencies to arrest trailer loads of various kinds of noodles rice and cubes use for vote buying urging residents to remain resolute towards voting the right candidates for a better future for Nigeria.
