National Orientation Agency (NOA),Kano office has called on eligible Voters, to Desist from Carrying Weapons,Symbols or Slogans of Political Parties, to Polling Unit on election day.
Director of the Agency Alhaji Salisu Waziri Kutama made the call, during an interview with Radio Nigeria in Kano.
He said only People that are eighteen years and above with Voters Card, are expected at the Polling Unit for Voting.
He stressed that, Underage children, thugs Carrying Weapons, Politicians Wearing Party Symbols, would face the law if found within the Voting Environment.
Alhaji Salisu Maintainedd that, Parents should ensure that their children that are 18 years and above, who are duly registered, cast their votes and return home to avoid break down of law and order.
“You will only cast your vote if you are duly by INEC, if you don’t have a voters card don’t go the the polling unit”he said.
The State Director noted, that the March 11th election is of Paramount importance, as it would Pave way for the Public to Select their Leaders, at the Grassroots Level.
He highlighted that, Governors and Members of the State Assembly are more Closer to the People, and can easily be Contacted for Demands that can Positively impact on citizens life.
“They are more closer to you, where you can take your demands directly to them”he added.
Alhaji Salisu Waziri commended Kano citizens, for exercising their civil rights on 25th February, and urged them to go out massively on March 11th, to elect their New Governor and Members of State Assembly of their Choice.
