2023 Election: CNNC Tasks Nigerians On Godliness, Unity

The National President, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians, CNNC Elder Steven Bangoje has called on electorates to unite toward ensuring that credible candidates who have the fear of God are elected into the positions of leadership in the forthcoming elections.

In a press statement made available to Newsmen in Kaduna, says next month general elections provided a platform for Nigerians to vote new leaders that would champion the affairs of the nation, hence the need for Nigerians to be guided toward ensuring leaders that have the fear of God and the capacity to tackle corruption and other challenges are elected at both local and national level.

According to the statement, when the godly are in the position of authority ,the people rejoice, but when the wicked are in power, the people groan.

“As taught in the scripture, the sceptre of the wicked will not sit over the land allocated to the righteous, least the righteous lift up their hands to do evil”

“So let’s stand behind leaders who are for righteousness and justice, and are ready to work with the church”

“Together in unity, let our voice be heard across the nation through our votes”.

Steven Bugaje admonished Nigerians to identify with leaders that will bring peace and development and not those that will compromise the country’s prosperity for their personal gain.
