KWSG To Recruit Six Hundred Teachers – Official

At least six hundred teachers in different subject areas are to be employed by Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB to improve quality of teaching and learning in the state.

Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Professor Raheem Adaramaja stated this in a statement in Ilorin.

He said the vacancies became open as a result of retirement, relocation, and death.

Professor Adaramaja explained that the vacancies will be filled from the pool of qualified applicants who were not absorbed in the previous recruitment exercise of 2021.

He said the decision was arrived at in recognition of the possibility that the bulk of applicants in a new recruitment process will come from those who had previously participated in the last exercise.

Professor Adaramaja noted that in circumstances where vacancies in rural areas are not filled , communities will be allowed to nominate certified individuals with National Certificate of Education (NCE) and competency in relevant subject area for employment.
