JGSG Donates 20 Motorcycles To Police, NSCDC

Jigawa State government has donated 20 motorcycles to the state commands of the  Nigeria police force and Civil Defence corps to support their operations in state.

Presenting keys of the motorcycles, the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini said the donation is part of the government efforts to strengthen the fight of insecurity in the state.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary, council affairs and special services, Alhaji Abba Muhammad Kiyawa explained that the state government will continue to give all the necessary support and cooperation to the security agencies to improve security situation in the state.

Speaking at the occasion, the state Commissioner of Police,  Effiom Emmanuel Ekot who was represented by DC Operations Tijjani Murtala commended the state government for the gesture.

He assured that the command will make good use of the motorcycles.

Emmanuel Ekot said members of security agencies in the state, are indeed grateful to the state government.

Also speaking, the state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Alhaji Musa Mala who was also represented by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SC Abdullahi Adamu Shehu promised to make good use of the motorcycles.

Radio Nigeria reports that the State Police command received 15 motorcycles while nigeria security and civil defence corps received 5 motorcycles.
