APC Committed To Uplifting Women’s Standard Of Living – Hajia Chidari

In continuation of sensitization campaign on importance of voting across some local government areas, wife of Kano State House of Assembly Speaker Hajiya Zahra’u Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari visited Makoda local government area.

The event,which took place at Makoda government secondary school witnessed large turn out of women across all wards in Makoda.

In her opening remarks, Hajiya Zahra’u Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari explained that, they were at the local government to sensitize eligible voters especially women on the importance of casting their votes for credible leaders.

She pointed out that, APC is the only political party that introduced policies and programs aimed at uplifting the living standards of women.

The wife of the speaker highlighted that, notable among such programs include economic empowerment , agricultural development, education and employment opportunities among others.

Hajiya Zahra’u noted that, the present administration has fulfilled all its campaign promises and would do more if given the opportunity.

She described women as the backbone of any meaningful society, that have a vital role in ensuring free and fair elections.

She advised eligible voters to vote for Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu as president, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo at state level,and Kano speaker Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari as member representing Makoda Dambatta federal house of representatives, and Mohammad Ahmad Thomas for member representing Makoda local government area.

The wife of the speaker noted that, Kano state under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has recorded tremendous achievements in various sectors.

She explained that, the 9th assembly under the leadership of its speaker, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has passed several motions and bills that have developed the state in various capacities.

Hajiya Zahra’u urged women, to complement government’s efforts by voting for APC from national to state level, which would pave way for more dividends of democracy.

Speaking to Radio Nigeria, Women leader Makoda Ward, Huzai Yakubu Iyani and Safara’u from Tsamiya Kunkurai commended the wife of the speaker, for the visit and promised to vote for APC in the forthcoming general election.
