Kaduna Govt Intensifies Security Surveillance On Flash Points

Kaduna State Government has mapped out security flashed points and taking necessary steps to ensure successful conduct of the 2023 elections throughout the state.

The state Commissioner Internal Security and Home Affairs Mr. Samuel Aruwan mentioned this at an Election Sensitization event organized by Justice Development and Peace Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese In Kaduna.

He expressed the hope that the next election was coming with security dynamics because of many contending issues but the country would come out strong.

Mr. Aruwan Went down memory lane by speaking on predictions made years back that the country would disintegrate but several elections have come and gone with such predictions proven wrong saying the country was destined by God.

He said the future of the country lies on the youths urging them to shun ethno religious, regional and tribal sentiments and work out ways of getting back to past glory when Hausa, Fulani, Atyap and Igbo stayed together sharing things in common.

As we approach the election, let us begin to turn the tide of our national discourse by imbibing sense of duty and dedication beyond ourselves values like discipline humility sacrifices and honor”

In a message through the coordinator, Justice Development and Peace Commission Reverend Father Joshua Achir, the Archbishop Mathew Manoso Ndagoso Called on the youths to use their vote wisely during the upcoming elections and not allow anyone nfluence their decision by any means.


Archbishop Ndagoso expressed confidence that the BIVAS machine introduced by INEC would bring credibility and acceptable process during and after the election.

He therefore commended organizers of the event, Justice Development and Peace Commission in collaboration with Global Peace Fondation and Catholic youth organization of Nigeria Kaduna Archdiocese for the event which had the theme “The role of youths in the 2023 general election.
