Gunmen have reportedly abducted an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP ) Abdulmumini Yusuf, in Ilorin, Kwara state .
The victim, popularly called “Emirate No1”, is an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) serving at the area command in Ilorin.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday night while he was about to enter his house at Ogidi after the close of work.
It was learnt that the Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, has since visited the community following the development.
Confirming the incident ,the Kwara state Police Command spokesman Okasanmi Ajayi said the command is working towards rescuing the abducted police officer.
