Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Kaduna state command has reiterated its determination to partner with relevant authorities to reduce road crashes in the country.
Deputy Corp Commanding Officer of the Command Mr. David Gayya stated this during a town hall meeting in Sabon Gari Local Government Area council.
He explained that the Town hall meeting was a collaboration between the FRSC Kaduna state command and Sabon Gari Local Government Council.
Mr. David Gayya added that stakeholders in the transportation sector were invited and enlightened on the importance of obeying traffic rules and regulations, especially during the ember months.
He Charged motorists to desist from using the expired tyre, overloading and speeding to reduce the high rate of roads accident.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government Council, Engineer Muhammad Usman said the council remains committed to supporting the Corps in carrying out its responsibilities to save the lives and property of Motorists.
Engineer Muhammad Usman called on road users to imbibe the culture of obeying traffic rules and regulations, especially during the ember months period.
Radio Nigeria reports that the Town Hall meeting was attended by stakeholders, like KASTELEA, NURTW, the Tricycle Association as well as Mechanics Unions.
