ITF Awards Jigawa State As Best In Training Contribution 2021

Jigawa State Government has won the Best in Training Contribution 2021 award of the Industrial Training Fund ITF, Kano Area office. 

The Kano Area Manager, Engineer Sirajo Muhammad Tukur on behalf of the Director-General of the ITF, presented the award when he paid a courtesy visit to the Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.

According to the ITF, Jigawa State Government has proven to be consistently compliant and committed to the training and re-trainning of it’s workforce.

Engineer Sirajo therefore enjoined the state to continue to uphold its patriotic commitment not only to the development of it’s workforce, but also to maintain its leading contributions to deepening knowledge and skills as well as management of resources.

He described Jigawa State as a role model in terms of accountability and management of resources.

He further explained that the Fund had trained Nigerian workers across the country and such yielded a lot of positive results.

Sirajo urged the Jigawa state government to continue to partner with the fund to train Jigawa State Manpower.

Responding, the State Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila said Jigawa would strengthen its existing cordial working relationship with the Industrial Training Fund.

According to him, the state government is aware of the full capacity of the Industrial training fund particularly to the workers that have been trained in terms of their skills.

He pointed out that,  the state government attached great importance to the training and retraining of its workforce.

Kila added that it would not relent in its effort toward making the State Civil Servants more active through regular training and retraining to improve their capacity and productivity.

He commended the Fund for the visit and assured the Fund of the government’s commitment on all areas of collaboration.
