Zamfara: New CP Visits Emir, Army Commander For Synergy

The Newly posted Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command, CP Kolo Yusuf has vowed to work assiduously in collaboration with stakeholders to restore normalcy in the state.

CP Kolo made the assertion during a courtesy visit to Chairman, Zamfara State Council of Chiefs who double as the Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad at his Palace and the Commander 1 Brigade Nigerian Army Gusau, Brigadier General CA Baushe at the Brigade Headquarters, Gusau respectively.

The Police Boss who embarked on the visit for familiarisation solicited for their support and corporation to ensure stoppage of all forms of criminal activities in the state.

At the 1 Brigade Nigerian Army, the CP solicits cordial relationship and mutual working synergy with the Nigerian Army in the fight against insecurity and other matters of National Development.

While at the Emir’s Palace, Anka, Kolo Yusuf harps for stronger community policing through collaboration with the traditional rulers to crush criminals and their accomplices with a view to ensuring peaceful Zamfara State.

In their separate remarks, the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General CA Baushe and Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad commended the CP for the visit he started, urged him to maintain the tempo and pledged more support and cooperation to the police and other security agencies to restore lasting peace in the state.

During the separate visits, issues of security challenges were discussed extensively.

The CP was accompanied during the visit by the Deputy Commissioner of Police incharge of Operations, DC Dauda Mamman, Commanding officers 42/78 PMF squadrons, CTU Base 18 Gusau among others.

Abdulrazak Kaura
