The Commander General Kano state Hisbah Board, Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina has described the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Balarabe as Director General of the board, as a well deserved appointment.
Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina made the indication, while officially receiving the DG at hisbah headquarters, Sharada Kano.
According to him, the appointment is a clear indication of the Ganduje led administration’s commitment, dedication and hard work, which would improve transparency and accountability.
The commander general charged the DG to use his wealth of experience in restoring the glory of the board, as a former Director administration and general services and Permanent Secretary in various ministries and parastatals.
In his remarks, the newly appointed hisbah DG , Alhaji Abdullahi Balarabe reaffirmed his commitment to work assidiously in uplifting hisbah to international standards.
He appealed to the Commander general and staff of the board to give him the necessary support and cooperation while discharging his responsibilities.
Radio Nigeria reports that, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje appointed Alhaji Abdullahi Balarabe as hisbah director general, following the resignation of Dr. Aliyu Musa Aliyu Kibiya as DG to contest in the forthcoming general elections.
