Jigawa, Zindar In Niger Republic Collaborate On Security, Trade

Jigawa State and Zindar in Republic of Niger have reiterated their commitment towards working relationship between the two neighboring states.

In a statement to Radio Nigeria in Dutse by the Special Adviser to Governor Badaru of Jigawa State  on New Media and Public Relations Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila made this known at a two-day official visit to Zinder State in the Niger Republic.

Badaru Abubakar described the visit as historic and beneficial to the people of the two states and was also aimed at improving security, trade and commerce as well as agriculture.

He explained that the two neighbouring states in January this year in Dutse the Jigawa State Capital agreed to extensively find ways in solving security challenges.

He said the two states agreed to fashion out ways to create harmony for peaceful coexistence among them to protect the lives and properties of the people as well as create enabling environment for trade and agriculture, among their people.

Earlier, the Governor of Zinder State, Niger Republic, Alhaji Lauwali Madugu commended the commitment of Jigawa State on almost all the issues raised during the initial meeting in Dutse.

Lauwali also hoped that the success recorded would be beneficial to the people of Jigawa and Zindar states.
