Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 38 suspects including a 60 years old woman for committing various crimes in the State.
The Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande confirmed the development during a press briefing in the Command Yola.
The Commissioner assured the good people of Adamawa of sustained efforts by the Command in improving safety and security across the State.
According to him, the suspects were apprehended in connection of kidnapping, rape, arm robbery, Homicide, Shila and other various crimes around Girei, Fufore, Yola North and some other parts of the State.
The Commissioner of Police expressed appreciation to the good people of the State for the continued support and cooperation given to the Command.
He further assured the general public that all the suspects would be diligently prosecuted on completion of investigation.
In a similar development, the Command has promoted 11 officers from the rank of DSP to SP in compliance with the directives of the Inspector General of Police and the Police Service Commission.
