SIP: FG Injects Over N18b In Niger State

Federal Government has injected over eighteen billion naira to the Niger state government under the Social Investment Programme SIP from two thousand and sixteeen to date.   

Focal Person and Special Adviser to the Niger state Governor on Social Investment Programme SIP Barrister Amina Musa Guar stated this at a thank u rally by some benefitiaries of the programme in Minna.

Barrister Amina Musa Guar said a total of one hundred and eighty three thousand persons spread across the twenty five local government councils of Niger state are currently benefitting from the components of Social Investment Programme SIP.

She however lamented that despite the hardwork of President Muhammadu Buhari Niger state Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello and Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development hajiya Saadiya Umar Farouq are doing some people are out saying that SIP does not exist it is a scam that is why they are here for people to see that it is reality.

Barrister Amina Musa Guar however said the gathering is also to showcase the impact of SIP in Niger state to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari the Minister and Niger state Governor the laudable programme.

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development hajiya Saadiya Umar Farouq represented by Abubakar Sadik said the Farmer Moni of fifty thousand to three hundred thousand naira is expected soon.

State Programme Manager National Home Grown School Feeding Programme Comrade Umar Shaba said the programme is currently feeding five hundred and fifty nine thousand nine hundred and three pupils acroos twenty five local government councils in three thousand and fifty two public primary schools in Niger state.

He however explained that though nine hundred and forty one is not feeding efforts however were on to capture those schools to partake in the programme.

Some participants of Cash Transfer Bilkisu Idris Npower benefitiary Sani Idris and Talatu Suleiman Home Grown School Feeding Programme applauded the Federal Government for the gesture which they said had changed their lives and family positively.
